Straight Leg Jeans – Choosing the Right Fit

Straight leg jeans are flattering jeans that last forever. Known for their durability and comfort, they are timeless. But as for every clothing item, learning how to wear them is the first step.
Length – Straight leg jeans have 3 different lengths; average (5`4 – 5`8), tall (5`9 – 6`) and short (5` - 5`3). If you decide to style them with a pair of heels or boots, go for a longer length to cover your feet.
Waist – Straight leg jeans come in a variety of different waist types. You can choose from hip-hugger, regular-fit, extremely low-rise and tummy control waist. Placed below the hips, low-rise and hip-hugger women’s jeans have a snug fit. Regular-fit jeans have a waist that goes around the waistline with a loose fit. Extremely row-rise is placed two to three inches below your hips. Tummy-control waist helps in controlling your belly fat.
Fabric and color – Straight leg jeans are very relaxed and by choosing jeans with a little more stretch you will feel even more comfortable. For a slimming effect, go with darker denim colors. Most women can pull off medium washes as well.
Six decades have past and straight leg jeans are still popular. Every woman should have at least one pair of this amazing fashion item in her closet.
